Forward your Hotmail to Gmail. Or put an out of office on your Hotmail referencing your new Gmail address

Yoy can user MailStore Home to do it😊

here's a step-by-step guide on how to move Outlook emails to a Gmail account:

  1. Enable IMAP Access in Gmail:

    • Log in to your Gmail account.

    • Go to Settings by clicking on the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then click on "See all settings."

    • Navigate to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.

    • Under the "IMAP access" section, ensure that IMAP is enabled. If it's not, click on "Enable IMAP" and then "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page.

  2. Set up Gmail Account in Outlook:

    • Open Microsoft Outlook.

    • Go to File > Add Account (or File > Info > Add Account, depending on your version of Outlook).

    • Enter your Gmail email address and click on "Connect."

    • Enter your Gmail password and follow the prompts to complete the setup process.

  3. Configure Outlook to Use IMAP:

    • After adding your Gmail account, Outlook will automatically configure it using IMAP settings.

    • If prompted, make sure to allow Outlook to access your Gmail account.

    • Once the setup is complete, you should see your Gmail inbox and folders in Outlook.

  4. Move Emails from Outlook to Gmail:

    • Open Outlook and select the emails you want to move to your Gmail account.

    • You can select multiple emails by holding down the Ctrl key (Cmd key on Mac) while clicking on each email.

    • Once you've selected the emails, right-click on one of them and choose "Move > Copy to Folder" (or simply drag and drop the emails into your Gmail folder).

  5. Select Gmail Folder:

    • In the "Copy Items" dialog box, select your Gmail account from the list of folders.

    • Choose the folder within your Gmail account where you want to move the selected emails.

    • Click "OK" to start the copying process.

  6. Verify Emails in Gmail:

    • Once the copying process is complete, switch to your Gmail account either by opening Gmail in your web browser or through the Gmail app.

    • Navigate to the folder where you copied the emails from Outlook to ensure they are now available in your Gmail account.
