You may see this well known bootleg quoted as being
from London, Manchester. Lanchester (sic) or even Illinois.
I think it was recorded in Bolton. (pronounced Bout'n)
Some say soundboard others say audience.
The crowd are too loud for it to be SBD.
I think it may possibly be a mics-on-stage job
perhaps done by the band themselves.
Maybe one of those tapes that languished
in an ex-roadie's garage for a couple of decades
before he agreed to a clear-out under threat of divorce?
It looks like it was edited to just fit on one CD.
I have done some remastering but it's still a bit rough.
Great stuff however with Uli Roth on excellent form.
Dunno who told him he could sing though.
