The movie 'Srikanth,' starring Rajkummar Rao, has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. Despite the election period, when theater attendance is typically low, the film has managed to attract a significant audience. 'Srikanth' is a biopic on Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and founder of Bollant Industries. Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film also features Jyothika, Alaya F, and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.

In an interview with Firstpost, Rajkummar shared that he could relate to the character's perseverance, grit, and humble background. He said, "I could definitely resonate with his perseverance, with his grit and his working nature. I wouldn't say exactly, but I could somehow relate to his background because he too comes from a very humble background. And in my life also there were a lot of hardships when it came to money and having a big dream in life and to actually achieve that dream was something I could relate to."
