The SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) will host the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 69th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Sunday, May 19. It is the second-last league game of this season.

SRH will finish in the top two with 17 points if they win tonight and the Rajasthan Royals (RR) lose their last game against the Kolkata Knight Riders later today. PBKS, on the other hand, have already been knocked out of the tournament, and will look to end their campaign with a win to give their fans some joy.

The two teams met each other earlier this season in Mullanpur where the SunRisers won by two runs after successfully defending 182. They will look to continue their dominance over PBKS today.

On that note, here are three players who could score the most runs in today's SRH vs PBKS match.

#1 Travis Head - SRH

The SunRisers Hyderabad opener has been a revelation in this year's cash-rich league. Travis Head has memorable experiences of playing in India and he will certainly return with happy memories after this year's IPL. He is the third-highest run-scorer in IPL 2024 after Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Head has aggregated 533 runs in 11 games at a lightning strike rate of 201.89 and an average of 53.30. The southpaw has smashed one century and four fifties this year. The Aussie batter will look to keep the momentum going with the playoffs approaching.

#2 Shashank Singh - PBKS

The middle-order batter has arguably been the Punjab Kings' best batter this season. He has been a valuable addition to their lineup and will be expected to have plenty of success in the coming seasons.

Shashank Singh has accumulated 352 runs in 13 matches at an average of 50.29 and a strike rate of 166.82. He will look to end the campaign on a memorable note against the SunRisers Hyderabad today.

#3 Abhishek Sharma - SRH

The young left-handed opener has had a brilliant campaign this year, grabbing the headlines with his attacking brand of cricket. His partnership with Travis Head at the top has played a pivotal role in Hyderabad's campaign this year.

Abhishek Sharma has aggregated 401 runs in 12 matches at an average of 36.45 and a strike rate of 205.64. The southpaw will look to continue his blazing form as the SunRisers look to lift their first IPL trophy since 2016.
