“ Magical Mystery Tour ” is the soundtrack to the Beatles' television film of the same name. “Magical Mystery Tour” was released as a double EP in the United Kingdom and LP in the United States. Produced by George Martin, both versions include the six songs from the soundtrack of the 1967 film of the same name. The album was released in the USA on November 27, 1967, as an eleven-track LP compiled by Capitol Records, including side two from the album the songs from the EPs released by the band that year. It is considered the Beatles' 15th album in the US. In the United Kingdom, the LP was only released nine years after the USA, on November 19, 1976. The soundtrack was a critical and public success and was nominated for a Grammy. The album reached 31st place in the British charts in January 1968,
