You’ve made it to the long weekend, Toronto! To help ensure your break is full of fun, we’ve got an incredible lineup of events you can attend.

This weekend, there’s goat yoga, bicycle tours, an Asian night market, and an international children’s festival, among other events. Here’s what you can check out:

Friday, May 17:

Gangrene, USA: The Musical

Attend the world premiere of “Gangrene, USA: The Musical” at The Papermill Theatre, where you can watch a crazy radiologist attempt to resurrect a dead beauty queen to be his wife. Organizers encourage guests to come wearing a Halloween costume for an interactive experience. Tickets are $25 each and the show is from 8 p.m to 10:30 p.m.

Goat Yoga in Toronto

Toronto has had dog yoga and cat yoga, but have you heard of goat yoga? Well, Zero Proof Pulse is hosting a fun session of yoga where you can find your inner peace while enjoying the company of adorable goats. Tickets are $60 each and the session starts at 6 p.m. at Clubhouse Toronto.

K-POP Dynamite – Toronto Spring Dance Party

Club 693 is inviting you to its K-pop-themed spring dance party where you can dance the night away to your favourite K-pop tunes. Songs from BTS, Blackpink, New Jeans, TWICE and so many more will fill the room. Organizers say guests should come sporting their best K-pop-inspired outfit. Tickets range from $12 to $20 and the party starts at 10 p.m.

Saturday, May 18:

Guided Bicycle Tour of the Toronto Waterfront and Island

Go on a guided bicycle tour of the Toronto waterfront organized by Pedal Toronto. The three-hour tour will show you around the city, take you to Instagram worthy locations and let you see the city from the perspective of a local. A bike, helmet and ferry ride are all included with your ticket. Tickets are $110 each and the tour is from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.

Saturdays Pro & Hilarious Stand-up Comedy | Unleash the laughter

Spend your Saturday night at the Backroom Comedy Club for some top-tier laughs. There’s two shows available, one starting at 8 p.m and the other at 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 each.

Asian Night Market at Stackt 

Celebrate Asian Heritage Month at Stackt Market’s Asian Night Market. Guests can shop from over 50 Asian-owned food and goods vendors, groove to live DJs, watch traditional dance performances, attend art galleries and even participate in a dumpling workshop. The event is free to attend and is happening from 4 to 10 p.m.

Sunday, May 19: 

Amazing Place: Memory and Imagination

The Community Arts Guild presents Amazing Place: Memory and Imagination, a free gallery exhibition featuring artworks from its very own Scarborough residents. The gallery will also have live performances from community groups, guest artists and drop-in art activities for all ages. It’s happening at Cedar Ridge Creative Centre from 9 a.m to 4 p.m.

Lite-Brite: Worlds of Wonder

Feel nostalgic and like a kid again at Lite-Brite: Worlds of Wonder at Illuminarium Toronto. Illuminarium Toronto uses cutting-edge technology to bring imagination and the world of Lite-Brite to life. The new show includes an immersive narrative with interactive lights, twelve gaming stations, and friendly hosts. ‍It’s located at the Distillery District at 28 Gristmill Lane. Tickets are $38.50 for adults and $33.50 for kids.

Junior International Children’s Festival

Bring your family and friends to Harbourfront Centre for the international children’s festival “Junior.” It’s three days full of live theatre, dance, music, storytelling and hands-on workshops. The festival offers both free programming and ticketed performances starting at $5. Pre-registration is required for some of the festival’s free programming.
