The provincial regulator handed Nova Scotians a bit of break at the pumps ahead of the long weekend.
At midnight, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board lowered the price of regular self-serve gasoline by 3.8 cents to 175.6 cents per litre.
Diesel also saw a drop overnight to 174.1, which is a decrease of 1.3 cents.
Twelve months ago on this date, we were paying 1.48 for gas and diesel was 1.36 cents per litre.
