Indiana Fever Getting Roasted For Unusual Caitlin Clark Decision After Blowout Loss

It's still very early in the 2024 WNBA season, however, the performances from Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever over the first two games of regular-season action have certainly left more to be desired.

Now 0-2 on the year after dropping Thursday's game to New York, Clark and the Fever will have minimal time to prepare before taking on the Liberty once again on Saturday. And while it's not necessarily a 'must-win' game for Indiana, falling to 0-3 would certainly put a major damper on the excitement surrounding Clark's WNBA entrance.

Clark, who had nine points in the loss to New York last night, was not made available to the media after the game, according to WISH-TV's Andrew Chernoff.

Fans are taking to social media to express their thoughts on the decision this Friday morning.

"Caitlin Clark shouldn’t have to speak to the media at shootaround and pregame (as she did yesterday). She should only have to speak at one. However, she should have to speak after every game (unlike last night)," James Boyd of The Athletic tweeted.

"Keep that same energy when things aren’t going so great," another fan said.

"Well then," Angela Moryan of WISH-TV posted.

The Fever will be back in action tomorrow afternoon against New York.

Tipoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
