Highly Suspect have announced a new album, As Above, So Below, set to arrive July 19th, along with dates for a brief Summer 2024 US tour.
The outing will hit seven cities and see the band performing the new album in its entirety. Dates kick off July 24th in Memphis, Tennessee, and run through an August 2nd show in Brooklyn, New York. The other cities include St. Louis; Chicago; Flint, Michigan; Detroit; and Asbury Park, New Jersey.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Thursday (May 16th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code SOUNDCHECK. General ticket sales start Friday (May 17th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can also look for deals or get tickets to sold-out dates via StubHub, where your purchase is 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s Fan Protect program.
Ahead of the new album, Highly Suspect have unveiled the song “Summertime Voodoo,” which doubles as the namesake for the upcoming tour. Here, the band dials back the electronic elements present on its previous LP, adopting a more psych/stoner rock sound that’s complemented by some hazy desert motorcycle cam footage in the music video.
“If my life is a book, then this album is the first chapter that truly addresses the central conflict,” said frontman Johnny Stevens in a press release. “The recognition of an ego, the problems its caused — and the birth of its death. ‘As Above, So Below.’ If I’m being real, I hit rock bottom again. After another close call with death, I feel wide awake. I don’t know how the book ends yet, but I’m very engaged in the plot now. I’d rather it not end at all.”
In addition to the headlining summer dates, Highly Suspect will also play the Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals this fall.
