looking to find new genres
i really enjoy bands like mudvayne, slipknot, coal chamber, and im starting to listen to a bit of machine head. anyone have recommendations on other bands/genres that i might enjoy?
(first post, sorry if the flair’s wrong or something)
bloodsimple, dope, 40 below summer, adema, warbringer
Dope is great
Mushroomhead - XX
Try Fear Factory - Demanufactured or Obsolete.
thanks
For something a little lighter, try Corrosion of Conformity - my personal favorite album is In the Arms of God.
For something a little heavier, try Kataklysm. Can't pick a favorite album, but the new album Goliath is a good place to start.
Gojira for sure. Earlier stuff is heavier than later.
Maybe a hit or miss for you, but give Meshuggah a listen as well. Some of their material can be kind of daunting to listen to, but if you're not familiar with them, start with Nothing, Catch 33, or Koloss.
ive listened to a few gojira albums, i’ll take a listen to the rest of these though
thanks
Nobody is like these guys. I can't compare them to anyone.
