The Great Indian Kapil Show, starring Kapil Sharma, Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, and others, has wrapped up. Kapil Sharma's talk show aired on Netflix on 30 March 2024. The first episode featured Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor. The last episode released was that of international singer Ed Sheeran. While Archana Puran Singh and Kiku Sharda have already confirmed the show going off-air, Krushna Abhishek recently reacted to the talk show winding up. Krushna Abhishek reacts to reports of The Great Indian Kapil Show going off air

Krushna Abhishek was recently spotted by the media. He was asked about The Great Indian Kapil Show going off-air. The comedian/actor stated that the show is not going off-air, it's just that the season is concluding. Krishna's statement hints that possibilities exist for the talk show to soon return with a second season. In fact, Kiku Sharda has clearly stated that the first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show was meant for just 13 episodes, and hence they are wrapping up after shooting for the 13th episode. He mentioned that the plan for the second season was always there in the pipeline and that the team will soon come up with a second season without any gap. Rumors are rife that Netflix wasn't too happy with the ratings of the talk show and hence decided to end the show abruptly. However, the cast and crew have denied the speculations and have stated that they have enjoyed a good amount of viewership. The majority of the social media audience has always stated that the television version of the Kapil Sharma talk show was much better and more humorous than the web version. In fact, it was stated that the talk show after it aired on the OTT platform, in a way, lost its charm, and hence people weren't able to connect to the show, which resulted in low ratings.
