MADISON, Wis.—The Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions has announced that on July 23 it will recognize 25 awardees from four continents as the International Credit Union Development Educator (ICUDE) Class of 2024 at the Global DE Social event held in conjunction with the 2024 World Credit Union Conference (WCUC 2024) in Boston.
“A diverse group of professionals from across the international credit union movement met the four required criteria to qualify for this unique designation,” the WCUF said.
The ICUDE Class of 2024 is comprised of:
Africa
- Triza Magreta, MUDI Savings and Credit Cooperative (Malawi)
- Bernand Bingab, UEW Credit Union/Ghana Cooperative Credit Unions Association (Ghana)
- Joan Atuhurra, African Confederation of Cooperative Savings and Credit Association (ACCOSCA), Uganda
Caribbean
- Austin Brown, Community & Workers of Jamaica Co-operative Credit Union, Ltd., Jamaica
- Naddian Damier, National Co-operative Credit Union Limited, Dominica
- Kerry Ann McCollin, United Enterprise Credit Union Ltd., Barbados
- Carlos Rochester, United Enterprise Credit Union Ltd., Barbados

According to the WCUF, pending the completion of one of the criteria before the awards ceremony, pre-approved applications from the Caribbean include:

Each of the 25 designees will be welcomed and recognized by the Global Development Educator (DE) community during WCUC 2024 at WFCU’s inaugural Global DE Social, on July 23, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Harpoon Brewery in Boston.
