Art Research Productions (ARP) is an audiovisual production company specialising in feature fiction films. It is based in Sinaia in Romania and was founded in 2011 by Alec Aguletti, a film technician but also a screenwriter and director working in France.
The company remained dormant for several years but now, thanks to the professional development of Alec Aguletti and the arrival of Terry Xu, graduate of L'École Supérieure de Création Audiovisuelle in Paris, its activity is launched.
Indeed, they are currently working on their first feature film, Le Sot du 7ème, and they are coming to Cannes with the desire to share this event with other professionals.
However, ARP's vocation does not stop there as Art Research Productions was from the start designed to remain in keeping with Alec Aguletti's Romanian origins, as a bridge between France and Romania.
Cooperation is at the heart of any film production and that is why it seems completely normal to Alec and Terry, both of foreign origins, to expand the national circle to an European level. Indeed, according to them, collaborations between the countries of the European Union will intensify over time and, as it has already happened in the past, France and Romania are already pioneers in this cooperation.

RETINA FILM PRODUCTION
The Retina team began its journey in game development and 3D art in January of 2020. With four programmers and four artists, it’s a young and enthusiastic team. In partnership with a prestigious cultural institute, we’ve had the opportunity to launch three video games, with the purpose of teaching the German language to youth.
Artistically speaking, Retina has been involved in many innovative digital art projects, including the first completely virtual concert in Romania, partial production and postproduction on the first Romanian S.F. TV series, as well as concept and 3D modelling for the 2023 E-Sports world championship trophies.
Cinema-wise, Retina is heavily involved in both production and postproduction, signing various titles, some in the current Netflix catalogue, as well as other smaller projects, engaging up and coming talent.
Presently, we are busy postproducing a short fiction film, an animation show where puppets and marionettes meet the digital environment, as well as animating various sequences in a documentary we are also postproducing.
