Liu Bei’s weakness was his strength
Liu Bei was pretty much always in the thick of war barely making it by w/ the exception of a brief Xu province governorship & then later w/ Jing & Yi. But he won his battles thru veteran forces even after his death a decade later, Zhuge Liang relied on that base, when Sima Yi took over in the Northern campaigns his brilliance is shown thru sparing himself taking on the Shu-Han directly. But most of time he went went in the offensive w/ the likes of Gao Xiang, Wu Ban, Wei Yan, Chen Shi, Wang Ping, Wu Yi & others bested the must better supplied Cao-Wei army. Those who shame Sima Yi fooling for the dead Zhuge makes a living Sima retreat overlook the whole idea of the Liu/Zhuge mindset. Eastern Wu & Cao-Wei suffered from terrible corruption w/ the Simas & Sun Chen/Jun but it really wasn’t Fei Yi & Lu Yi’s deaths where the Shu-Han was outright corrupted but it’s easier to type for a one province & several commanderies state to type. Cao Cao & Liu Bei are the GOATs. Sun Ce who never handled an army over ten thousand troops can’t really compare. Cao Cao biggest mistake was trying to recruit Liu Bei as opposed to eliminating him right off the bat.
Liu Bei is a fuck head
