GH’s Nancy Lee Grahn Speaks Out for Jailed Former On-Screen Daughter, Haley Pullos

General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) spoke out for and defended allegations levied against her former on-screen daughter, Haley Pullos (ex-Molly) in a series of posts on X.

Pullos is currently serving 90 days in jail for a DUI and taking to a California freeway the wrong way, hitting another car and injuring the driver. The jail time is part of the plea deal which also saw Pullos being given five-years probation and 200 hours of community service, plus the loss of her license for a year and having to pay out $8,000 to the injured driver.

Grahn shared that she had a phone call with Haley the other day and expressed her thoughts on Pullos’ current state of imprisonment, and how Haley’s legal woes were reported in the media.

The two Daytime Emmy-winning star expressed, “For those who wished for Haley to be punished with no exceptional treatment, you’ll be relieved to know she’s in maximum security solitary confinement alongside hardened criminals. She’s isolated except for one hour a day where she has phone privileges… today with me.”

As to how Pullos is weathering being behind bars, Nancy added, “I couldn’t have been more impressed with her strength, her resolve, her accountability. NOT ONE COMPLAINT. Not one “Why me” She’s taking it all and it’s ALL beyond horrible… with stoicism & grace. I am SO incredibly proud of her. And I’d like to add that the guards and deputies at Lynwood prison couldn’t have been nicer. Special shout out to Warren.”

Taking on media reports, and how they have painted Pullos through her ordeal, Nancy shared, “I’d also like to add that much of what you read about her was not true. She’s always been respectful, an A student, never got into a lick of trouble ever & made a terrible terrible mistake 1 night.  She voluntarily went straight into only rehab that’d take her with serious injuries for 6 wks, not because it was a ‘country club’ as it was reported. I found it for her. It cost her every penny she had & then into sober living for 2 months. Daily therapy until now.”

Nancy also stated, “That $400 blouse the rag narrative made it sound like she coveted over injured lives was borrowed from wardrobe and she was completely incoherent so the narrative that she was a spoiled brat mouthing off to police was meant to get clicks. The hit and run??? She hit a car which immediately made her hit another. Horrendous enough without making it seem like she hit a car and then the entitled celeb intentionally, willfully, ran off & then hit another… was intentionally reported falsely to rile you 4 clicks.”

She ended her posts with, “It is hard to discern the truth when the media is for sale. What’s true is Hayley drank excessively and got in a car. She is paying for that while at the same time assisting her victim in getting as much compensation as possible. Thank God all party’s have and will survive.”

Obviously I hope Nancy is telling the truth but she is biased towards Haley.

While a bit hypocritical coming from Nancy she isn’t wrong about the media tending to overblow celebrity bad actions.

Also interesting in a reply to someone Nancy is saying that Haley will actually do the full 3 months with no early release.

When they marry , let them stay married for a while. Not everyone divorce about adultery, over minute matters or every disagreement.

What does this have to do with marriage?

Being a recovering alcoholic addict, I can say that despite what happened which is horrible in itself, she did have a high bottom out. She didn’t get anyone killed and she wasn’t ordered to serve years in prison. Yes, the monetary consequences will be around for a good while but she can come back from this. My hope for her is to keep doing what she’s doing as far as the program goes because as bad as this was, it could get much worse if she were to turn back to alcohol.

Ya if Haley was a republican christian Nancy would demand she get life in prison. Gimme a break dui is a horrible criminal offense.

You are right there

You just had to make it political??? Why is that fun for you?

Nancy makes every single thing political

I didn’t see politics in anything she posted‍♀️

Exactly Nancy didn’t mention anything political. I’m a recovering addict and alcoholic been clean and sober 7 years. I pray for Haley. Be strong Haley, you got this

She points out the hypocrisy of the scumbags in the “Republican” party, which I love.

I wish Haley well. The media is horrible and it is best to never trust them. I hope Haley can eventually return to GH. She is serving her time for her mistakes. I wish her well and hope she has learned from this experience.

I so agree

We should all wish for Haley to come out of this a stronger person. As for GH, Kristen Vaganos has really embraced the role of Molly and brought it to a new level.

Please no. I couldn’t even watch the scenes with Pullos as Molly. That entitled whine was unbearable. I hope she never returns to the show; I’d take nuMolly over her any day.

That’s disgusting. Why not wish her well. She is serving her time.

I don’t like her. I didn’t like her in the role, I didn’t like her full-of-herself social media posts, I didn’t like her outing a restaurant during COVID, while people were lying on vents dying and her biggest problem was they put something in her salad she didn’t want so just had to name the place, I don’t like her whiny voice or her vampy pics. I especially detest that she drove drunk and high and almost killed someone, then complained that the first responder was pulling at her $300 dollar shirt while he was pulling her to safety.

I will keep praying for her, we can not judge, we all make mistakes. And I believe Nancy, she doesn’t seem like the type to lie for anyone.

I don’t think Haley took responsibility for her actions. It’s nice she has people to support her. I hope she gets help, but she also needed to be punished for what she did.

Agree

Read the article you would understand the truth

No, you would only understand what Nancy said. Nothing more or less. Momo expressed an opinion and made some valid points. Nothing wrong with that.

She’s in prison, she obviously is taking responsibility

You don’t think she took responsibility for her actions? What the hell do you think she’s doing, sitting in a Country club, being catered to? We all make mistakes and thankfully she has friends like Nancy and her family for support and also fans like myself who will offer their support and understanding. So sad, all the judgemental and jealousy for this young woman. It certainly has made me see some of them in a new light.

Violet; none of us know Haley. Just because someone’s an actor doesn’t make him or her special, nor do they deserve undying loyalty. They’re just a person with a job like the rest of us. My opinion is she comes off like an entitled, full-of-herself, conceited, brat. I’ve read her tweets, I’ve seen her pics on social media. Nothing but pics of herself one after another, posing, as if she’s the next hot thing. She doesn’t seem to be the type that takes an interest in the world around her; just wants the world to center ON her. Now of course as I said I don’t know her personally either, but that’s the impression I get. Couple that with the not one but two accidents in one night, her decision to get behind the wheel knowing how out of it she was, her belligerence when she was arrested, her yelling at the first responder to get his hands off her $300 shirt as he was pulling her from her mangled car, and her seeming indifference to the fact the person she hit was in ICU…maybe it’s time for undying fans to she HER in a “new light.” And did you see that rehab she went to? A “country club” would look shabby compared to where she was.

Nancy sounded just as sound and logical as her TV character. It was good to know that Haley had her to turn to.

She could’ve killed someone and taking accountability is what needs to be done and by her serving her sentence is a start. She’s young and she can get back on track

I Love Haley and always felt the media bias against her was intense! Tyler Christopher was given so many chances and they fired her before a trial! Thank you Nancy for sharing the truth! I for one would love to see her succeed w the programs ! So impressed she is helping the person she hit! So looking forward to both of them healing and moving forward!

Haley was not on contract – thus she was not fired. Recurring performers appear “at will”. The network can drop for any reason or the performer can just say they are unavailable.

Leave Hayley alone! She made a life altering mistake! She’s paying for it! She deserves another chance, in life also!

I totally agree

Hoping Haley gets back on track. I think she will. Taking responsibility is a first step
I would rather watch paint dry than listen to Nancy Lee Grahn. She’s intolent of those who do not share her views. If this had been one of the current or former Republican actors on GH I guarantee she probably would have had a different attitude per my opinion. I could care less what she says and I wish Haley the best.

Sorry; not buying it. I’ve seen Haley’s IG and Twitter posts over they years. Entitled, conceited, spoiled. Even her acting reflected that in her whiny portrayal of Molly. Bottom line is she was high and drunk she had a hit and run and then a second accident immediately the same night and had to be pulled from the car, was belligerent, rude, and was reportedly worried about her $300 shirt. Of course she’s being treated well; she’s an actor and she’s a sexy female (blown-up lips and all; contrast her looks today to that earlier “real” picture of her before she had work done). So yeah, she’s treated “nice.” Good for her. She deserves to be there. I hope she doesn’t come out more entitled. And that rehab place she went to was the epitome of luxury, complete with swimming pool. The victim of her partying and then driving was in ICU.

Me thinks you didn’t even take the time to read the article. Typical. Believe everything salacious because it’s salacious. Don’t believe regular stuff because it’s not exciting….

I read the article, and it changes nothing. I don’t really do SM, but if Rebecca1 has been seeing posts for years that gave this impression, then obviously there’s something to it.

Wow!! SMH

GENERAL HOSPITAL: Finn Tells Violet That Gregory Passed, While Elizabeth Sees He Has Been Drinking

The raw emotions continued on the Wednesday, May 22nd episode of General Hospital as Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) try to come to grips with the death of their father, Gregory (Gregory Harrison).

In story, Gregory passed away in his sleep and his battle with ALS came to its conclusion. In the pick-up, Finn now has to tell his daughter, Violet (Jophielle Love) that her grandfather had passed when she returned home from school.

Gingerly, Finn does his best to explain to Violet what happened. Finn tells her that her grandfather’s heart stopped beating, and he wasn’t in pain. Violet bursts into tears saying that she wants Grandpa to still be here and runs into his room calling out for him. Then, in very touching scenes, Finn follows Violet. She asks her dad where her Grandpa is. Finn explains the paramedics took him away. She cries that she didn’t get the chance to even say goodbye.

Next, Finn hugs Violet and tells his little girl that life is so beautiful, but sometimes it’s unfair. He carries Violet back to the living room, but passes by the bottle of booze. He sits her down on the couch and tells her there will be a funeral in a few days so they will get to say goodbye to Grandpa together. When Violet asks where her Grandpa is now, Finn says he is in heaven.

Later, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) shows up and hugs Violet and Finn. She can see right away that Finn has been drinking, especially after eyeing the glass, and the bottle on the counter. Getting Violet out of the room for a moment, Liz tells Finn she can’t even imagine the pain he must be in right now. So, he should go to a meeting and Violet will come home with her for the night.

Finn puts his foot down that Violet will stay with him. He just watched two total stranger, the paramedics, take his dad away. He says he took one drink to ease his pain. Finn stands up to Liz and says he thinks given the circumstances he has a right to do whatever it takes to get through the day. Next, Liz says she can’t stop him, but she will not have him get drunk with his daughter in the apartment, and so, she is taking Violet with her.

Elsewhere, Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) decide at the airport to head back to the Quartermaines, and not take off for their honeymoon, since Gregory died. When they show up at the Q’s, Chase says he wants to be with his brother, but he is giving him time to tell Violet. Next, the newlyweds are greeted by Ned (Wally Kurth) and Lois (Rena Sofer). They tell the two the truth, leaving everyone stunned or in tears. Chase heads out to find Tracy.

Meanwhile, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is holding on to her good luck charm from Gregory as her reinstatement hearing begins. Little does she know, he has passed away. Alexis finds out she is in a court battle with Fergus Byrne (Lane Davies), the brother of the late Neil Byrne.

So, what did you think of the performances of Jophielle Love and Michael Easton in the touching scenes between Violet and Finn? Will Finn end up on a complete bender? Will his brother Chase show up in time to help him? Comment below.

General Hospital’s Michael Easton Pens Touching Farewell to Gregory Harrison

Following the on-screen death of his on-screen father, Gregory Chase played by Gregory Harrison, longtime soap vet, Michael Easton (Finn, GH) shared his feelings on a touching Instagram post.

Easton summed up getting to know Gregory Harrison, and to play emotional scenes with him for the last three years. In story, Gregory succumbed to ALS, a disease in which there is no cure.

Sharing several photos of himself with Harrison. Easton expressed, “Gregory Harrison. One of the finest actors I’ve ever had the privilege of working with and an even better human being. I learned so much from you, my friend, and it was an absolute honor to get to share a stage with you these past three years. Your talent, grace and powerful presence will be greatly missed around the studio. @gnhsurf @generalhospitalabc #gh #fathersandsons”

Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis, GH) also took to X and shared her sentiments on her time working with Harrison. Grahn said, “Was hard to say good bye to working with my friend, Gregory Harrison. What a treat to share the stage with this guy, and getting to know him was a gift. I truly love & respect everything about him. And I know he’s seeing this. He doesn’t post, but likes to read mine.”
