I’m happy to present, Andy Ivey – CIO and School Board Reformer, on Growing the Next Version of You w/ Mike Rochelle!
I'm interviewing my good friend and longtime customer, Andy Ivey! Andy has risen through the ranks in the IT industry through hard work, determination, and focus which is rare. A servant leader in all walks of life, he has been a rowing coach, BBQ blogger and recently entered reluctantly into politics. After recently moving to Hamilton, Texas to create a hobby ranch and optimize the growth environment for his family, he applied all his strengths to create a goat and cattle ranch, along with chickens, using Social Media to break all the rules and gain a seat in his first run! Finding out that the local school board had allowed an ill-conceived 800-acre solar farm with massive tax breaks, he began speaking out. Neighbors demanded that he run for school board. The odds were not in his favor, but he won the election, and you’ll hear the rest of the story along with his backstory today. Enjoy getting to pear into the mind of a great human being, and natural leader!
