Peyton Manning’s ‘Full Court Press’ Docuseries set to Return for Season 2 with New Basketball Stars

The docuseries “Full Court Press” introduced to the world of sports by Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, Words & Pictures, and ESPN+, features on and off court lives of three sensational women basketball stars, Caitlin Clark, Kamilla Cardoso, and Kiki Rice.

The documentary series offers a rare insight into the lives and struggles the stars face in their journeys and how fascinatingly inspirational they have been in their ride to stardom.

Former Iowa generational talent and multiple-award winner Clark was selected in the WNBA Draft as the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever, whereas Cardoso, the two-time NCAA champion, was acquired by the Chicago Sky in the first round as the third overall pick.

Rice, the four-time Olympic Gold medalist, who became the first athlete to sign a Name, Image, and Likeness, NIL, deal with Jordan Brand, plays with UCLA Bruins. However, According to Front Office Sports, a second season of “Full Court Press” will come into motion, which will feature three women basketball personalities once again.

As per the report, Manning stated, “We found these things are better when you have multiple players. Not just focused on one single player. Caitlin actually wanted to have other players in it—as opposed to just focusing on her.”

The second season will focus on four-time Olympic Gold medalist, UConn Huskies point guard Paige Bueckers, USC guard JuJu Watkins, and LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson. During his interview on “The Pat McAfee Show”, Manning revealed that he conceived the idea of focusing on superlative hoopers when he was concluding his famed Netflix series “Quarterback.”
