so like the title says. I'm moving from New York to live in LA county in the next two weeks, specifically north hollywood. initially, I was looking at either long beach or Inglewood to get a vibe similar to where I'm from: rougher around the edges, organic/less pretentious, & with a lively, energetic, & hectic crowd. however, it's looking like I'm going to be staying in north hollywood instead.
what should I expect culture-wise going in there that might throw me off at first? what are some cool active spots?
