A big regular on the red carpet, the actor will be present from the start of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, to attend the screening of the film Second act, of which he is one of the headliners. As a reminder, this feature film was chosen by the organizers to open the event this year. It will therefore be screened at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes following the grand opening ceremony, which will be broadcast live on France 2. In the past, Louis Garrel has already visited the Croisette several times to attend various screenings. This was particularly the case in 2022.
That year, the actor was present on the red carpet for the screening of the film called The almond trees, in which he played a supporting role. The director of this film, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, was also present to attend the screening of her work in the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. For the record, the filmmaker knows Louis Garrel very well, given that they were a couple for five years. A period of time during which the two former lovers adopted a daughter.
