Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to visit with another AFC rival Skip to main content

Former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had it tough his last year in Kansas City. Well, kind of. I should say, he had a tough regular season. In the playoffs, he showed up repeatedly, as he always does.

Ironically, the Chiefs, who decided to part ways with Marquez Valdes-Scantling, are now in the market for a wide receiver. They signed Zay Jones, a player who, while talented, is considered a slower version of MVS. Jones has since joined the Arizona Cardinals, leaving the Chiefs still in need of a wide receiver.

As for MVS, he recently had a visit with the Los Angeles Chargers, who wiped their wide receiver room out. Now, MVS is visiting with another AFC rival.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, MVS is now meeting with the Buffalo Bills, who traded away Stefon Diggs this offseason and drafted Keon Coleman.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling's potential to contribute to a team, particularly in the postseason, is undeniable. His addition could significantly elevate the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver group, a move that could prove crucial for the team's success.
