Snoop Dogg Will Perform in Milwaukee at New Potawatomi Concert Series

Snoop Dogg Is the First Headliner at New Potawatomi Concert Series

The casino and hotel will set up a temporary outdoor concert venue to host the concerts.

Veteran rapper and cultural icon Snoop Dogg will be the initial headliner for the Potawatomi Amplified Concert Series.

The performance will take place June 15 at a temporary outdoor concert venue that will be set up on the former Cargill lot west of Potawatomi Casino Hotel in the Menomonee Valley. A pair of additional concerts will be held at the site in July and August, with performers being announced at a later date.

The venue is expected to cover between 150,000- and 200,000 square feet and offer a range of seating. The area will have a capacity for 4,800 patrons, including 40 picnic tables and two double-decker VIP tents. Food and beer trucks will offer a range of refreshments for concertgoers and drink wristbands will be available for purchase.

Guests will be able to utilize the free Potawatomi Casino Hotel parking structure, which has more than 4,500 spots. VIP parking and a rideshare lane will also be made available for the events.

“This will be one of the most exciting summers the city has experienced, and we wanted to give the people of Milwaukee and southeastern Wisconsin one more reason to visit Potawatomi Casino,” Potawatomi Casino Hotel CEO Dominic Ortiz said. “We are rolling out Potawatomi Amplified and the temporary venue, to host three concerts and we think people will be really excited when they hear the names we plan to announce.”

A rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, record producer, DJ, media personality and businessman, Snoop Dogg’s career has spanned more than three decades. In addition to his extensive work in music, Snoop Dogg, whose given name is Calvin Broadus Jr., is a serial entrepreneur with endeavors in Web 3.0, tech, entertainment, lifestyle, global consumer brands, food/beverage and the cannabis industries.
