MICHAEL MARK LERA OBITUARY

Michael Mark Lera Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on May 1, 2010. Born December 27, 1951 in San Francisco CA, Michael was 58 years old. Michael attended San Carlos High School, was Senior class president and graduated with honors in 1970. At 19 Michael joined IBEW LU#6 and worked as an electrician in San Francisco for 30 years. Michael enjoyed music, community politics and traveling. Michael is predeceased by his parents Aldo and Dorothy Lera and brother Richard Lera and also his children’s mother, Donna Rae Anderson. Survived by his loving daughters Heather (Craig) Stager, Bree Lera, Nicole (Bradley) Treft. Loving brother to Paul (Steffani) Lera, David Lera and Donna-Marie Lera and her husband Guy Letteer. Michael is also loved by many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Lasani Mule and Mary Gudjones for the love and care they gave Michael. A viewing will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7:30 p.m., Thursday May 6th, 2010 at St. Pius Church, 1100 Woodside Road in Redwood City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 7th, 2010 at 10:00 AM also at St. Pius Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma.
