WBCHSE HS 12th Result 2024 Live: The council recently informed that three subjects—French, Gujarati, and Punjabi—will be discontinued due to the consistently low number of registered students.

Three new vocational subjects – Banking and Financial Services and Insurance, Food Processing and Telecom – will be introduced from the 2024-25 academic session, it added.

WB HS 12th Result 2024 Live: Elaborating on the three levels of difficulty of the questions, the council said 50 per cent of the questions in all papers will be “basic and simple,” while 30 per cent will be a “bit more complex.” The rest of the 20 per cent will be for achievers, meaning those will be comparatively tougher and will test the students' logical and analytical skills along with their knowledge of the subjects.

The papers will have simple multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with 4 options, and questions of the following types:

Fill in the blanks

Column matching

Assertion-reasoning type

Diagram based questions

Rearrangement of sentences on prescribed sequence

True and false type questions

Case-based questions.

WBCHSE HS Result 2024 Live: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) recently announced that it will hold the HS (Class 11 and 12) final examinations in two semesters from next year, and the question papers will have three difficulty levels.

The syllabus and question pattern for the HS exams have been published on the council's website, wbchse.wb.gov.in.

For the first semester, total marks in a subject will be 35 if it has a practical or project component, and it will be 40 for the second semester. For Music and Visual Arts subjects, the total marks in each semester will be 20, the council said.
