Former world lightweight champion George "Ferocious" Kambosos Jr. reflected on Saturday's eleventh-round technical knockout loss to Vasiliy Lomchenko. Kambosos wrote: "Gave it my all, never cherry picked always stepped to the best & hardest challengers. And Loma will go down as one of the best in history. I’m safe I’m healthy & I tried my hardest to win for every second. Thank you to all the fans that support me through it all, dared again."

 

Kambosos' effort was criticized by Ryan Garcia, who is coming off a big win over Devin Haney that is under serious questioning due to Garcia's positive test for abanned substance. Garcia tweeted, "George kambozo sucks I’m sorry."

 

To which Kambosos, the conqueror of Teofimo Lopzez, responded, "[I] won more belts than you’ll ever win, princess, the clean way. [You] cheating dog, I rather go out on my shield against the best and lose like a man than cheat with weight advantages and enhancements like you did. Let’s have a street fight then fuck the ring!! Use all the [drugs] you want."
