Hallmark Mainstay Lacey Chabert to Headline Netflix Holiday Rom-Com
Hallmark viewers may be doing a double-take after hearing that fan favorite star Lacey Chabert's 2024 Christmas movie will be for Netflix. Worry not! We know she'll also be in at least one Hallmark Christmas movie, the already filmed The Christmas Quest with Kristoffer Polaha. What is Hot Frosty about?
Hot Frosty follows Cathy two years after losing her husband when she magically brings a handsome snowman to life. Through his naïveté, the snowman helps Cathy to laugh, feel and love again, as the two fall for each other just in time for the holidays…and before he melts.
Who's behind the scene on Hot Frosty?
Many of the names behind the scenes are familiar to Hallmark viewers. Jerry Ciccoritti, whose previous credits include Schitt's Creek, Hudson & Rex and Bomb Girls, is set to direct. He also directed, Two for the Win, Love's Complicated and Angel Falls Christmas for Hallmark. The story is written by Russell Hainline, who wrote last year's The Santa Summit and 2022's In Merry Measure for Hallmark. Joel S. Rice and Michael Barbuto are producers for Muse Entertainment on Hot Frosty. Muse Entertainment's production credits include Catch Me if You Claus, the Signed, Sealed, Delivered and Aurora Teagarden Mystery movies and Never too Late to Celebrate.
