Plot
Maxton Hall: The World Between Us tracks Ruby Bell, a bright scholarship student, as she makes an effort to blend in at her esteemed and private school. Children of politicians, businesspeople, and diplomats abound in Maxton Hall, eager to party and enjoy themselves.But not Ruby, who is aware that she needs to avoid problems if she wants to get into her ideal institution. But what happens when she gets called into trouble? Ruby’s life is irrevocably altered when she inadvertently discovers the shocking secret of the haughty rich heir James Beaufort.
Ruby is not one to sell herself for money or anything else, even though James is desperate to keep her silent. Between the two, sparks fly as tempers flare and heated words fly. Ruby now has to choose between team love and ambition in addition to between her heart and her head. There might be much more at risk than just their hearts and dreams as Ruby and James each show their more vulnerable sides.
