Fedora 40 checksum verification passed or failed?

I went through the steps on the download page to verify the downloaded iso. I'm not sure if I understand the output of the command I'm running here. I feel like this is saying that the x86_64 iso file is `OK` but some other 'osb' iso file is not there. Is the verification successful? What are these warnings related to? Should I use this iso file to create an installation media?

Can’t verify something that isn’t there. The OK is for the only file you have downloaded.

I didn't want to download this 'obs' file that this command is checking for. I only want to verify the x86_64 iso that I downloaded. Can you please tell me what the warnings mean here? Thank you!

I didn't want to download this 'obs' file

...which is why it tells you that it can't be opened. The iso you did download passed the check.

Thanks. I was a bit confused because of the warning `17 lines are improperly formatted`.

It's a bit awkward, but if you look at the checksum file, it's simply complaining that it doesn't know what to do with the PGP signature block.

You can also just sha256sum the file and manually compare it to the checksum (after verifying its authenticity).
