Are there English subtitles in the Planet of the Apes movie?
Just looking for anyone who's seen the movie to chip in.. .
(Specifically at la isla theater)
In the other movies they use a lot of sign language and there's subtitles for what they're saying. Obviously this one the apes are talking a lot more, so idk how much of that there is but im just wondering if it happens will there also be English subtitles hard coded in with the Spanish ones on top?
Only asking because I remember I watched shang chi and didn't understand half the movie becauae all the non English parts only had Spanish subs.
Sure in a Spanish speaking country. Yes totally
Some movies are dubbed into Spanish
Claro todas las películas animadas y algunas live action
Some of the movies it does... you have to look at the advertisements on the movie times... but most don't
😂😂😂😂😂😂
It doesn't make a difference which theater you pick, we barely have any movies left that they show in their original language, let alone proper subtitles. Wait until it's available for streaming, la isla was your only hope.
Is it a nice theater?
Nope? Edit
I ran into the same problem with Dune part 2. There are key parts of the movie where they speak Fremen and that all went straight to Spanish subtitles😳
But it was still totally worth seeing it on the big screen. And I finally got to watch it again last week with English subs.
Ah ok thanks
Which theater did you go to ? Its always like 50/50. I saw the fall guy and they had English subs for the French parts at la isla
La Isla for the win.
Before or after the movie, follow the river trail beside La Isla to the beach. That is Playa Holi and it's a whole hell of a lot of sand and only a few people during the week.
Umm I'd better clarify that no I did not watch Planet of the Apes there.
That nope applies to movies in general down here. Awesome that the Spanish subs didn't interfere with the onscreen subs in the previous movie you watched here
Ah okay well if anyone's been to la isla and can let me know about the subtitles that'd be great!
In a country where Spanish is the primary language? Yeah I think it has subtitles 😹😹😹😹
Some movies are dubbed into Spanish
Its not that uncommon actually... someone else posted it but I can attest that in CDMX some movie theaters are now adding english subtitles.
I saw Endgame that way.
