it's full of shit
i felt like sam taylor-johnson was romantizicing and tumblring her life and legacy, turning that addiction into something beautiful, which i understand, there's good addiction films like Requiem for a Dream or Trainspotting, but this one felt like so weird and full-out wrong
the only positive thing was the Blake actor, he's hot as fuck
other than that, marisa's acting should def not be judged. i think she did well with the script she was given, and she's completely awesome and all that. but def, i don't think this is some corporate business that has to do with making a film out of her life, rather it was all 100% sam taylor-johnson who made the script, if i'm not mistaken, so yea, what the fuck sam
girl wants to romantizice drugs and tabacco and alcohol and all of that. it felt so wrong seeing the sex scenes; that's freaking private, there's no manners there, just completely selling out her life into some sam taylor-johnson fantasy
bruv if there's any amy manager looking at this: get the lost recordings. those are the ones that secure her legacy
don't judge the actors and actresses, the screenwriter had the last say
anyways, please go watch the movie if u wanna know what i know now, if u wanna see what i see. there were some good cinematic shots but other than that, the story really felt so wrong to see. i didn't really feel comfortable, at all. defending a songwriter's legacy is enabling those songs to be heard, or at least pass a law or smth that has to do with paps or defending performers from management to obligate them to perform when they know the artist is not alright. amy was incredible, still is as her music lives
anyways, if u like the movie ur probably a nonce
