Dorothy ‘Dottie’ F. Trudell

Dorothy “Dottie” F. Trudell, 93, of Oconto Falls, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2024.

Dottie was born on Aug. 11, 1930, to Edward and Evelyn (Howard) Bourdlais. As a young girl, she grew up in Marinette. At the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Rodney Trudell. Together they had six children.

Dottie loved baking fresh bread by hand for family and friends, and she also made peanut blossoms that were her grandkids’ favorite. She never left the house without her fuchsia lipstick, her earrings and her hair looking perfect. She was a member of the Catholic Church in Oconto Falls.

Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Linda (John) Porior, Daniel Trudell, Michael Trudell and Debbie (fiance, Guy Farvour) Trudell; grandchildren, Kim (Mike) Parsons, John (Vicki) Porior, David (Wendi) Porior, Shawn (Mandy) Trudell, Lance (Chrissy) Trudell, Zane Trudell, Shelly Belongia, Tammy Baumgartner, Charlie Sazada, Heather (Ben) Schindel and Tiffany (CJ) Mottl; many great-grandchildren; and one son-in-law, Tom Scott.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rodney; her infant son, John; her daughter, Barbara Scott; daughter-in-law, Sue Trudell; grandsons, Damien and Mike; one granddaughter, Stephanie; brothers, Francis Bourdlais, Art Bourdlais, Herbert Bourdlais, Vernon Bourdlais, Edward Bourdlais and Bob Bourdlais.

No services are scheduled at this time, but a celebration of life will be held on Aug. 10, 2024.
