'Chicago Med' Alum Torrey DeVitto Shares Exciting Family Update

Torrey DeVitto is going to be a mom!

On Sunday, May 19, the Chicago Med alum took to Instagram to share the exciting news. "🤍🤍🤍Baby girl arriving this November🤍🤍🤍,"  she captioned the update.

In a pair of photos DeVitto, 39, included in her post, she donned a white dress while cradling her growing baby bump and gazing lovingly at her fiancé, Jared LaPine.

DeVitto's Instagram followers expressed in the comments how thrilled they were by the big news. Actress Hilarie Burton declared, "Babe!!!!! Amazing!!!!! Big hugs your way!!!!!"

Actress Lesley Fera wrote, "I’m thrilled for you, sweetie! ❤️🩷❤️🩷❤️Congratulations!!! That baby girl is so lucky! Btw November is a very good month. 😉."

Meanwhile, another Instagram user commented, "I THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS UP! You stopped posting as much 🥹," while someone else wrote, "Awww! Congratulations you two!!"

DeVitto and LaPine reportedly got engaged in September 2023.

“He proposed at home on her farm in Michigan. It happened over Labor Day weekend,” a source told Us Weekly. “It was a big surprise, even though they had talked about it someday, she didn’t know it was happening that week at all.”

Previously, DeVitto was married to Vampire Diaries and Star Trek actor Paul Wesley from 2011 to 2013.

The actress left Chicago Med at the end of Season 6. Since her departure, she has appeared in Hallmark TV movies like Rip in Time, Twas the Night Before Christmas and Love's Greek to Me.
