Actor Suriya's film 'Kanguva' directed by Siva gears up for a Diwali release. The epic action period violent drama, shot in 2D and 3D in 10 languages, focuses on two timelines with VFX and 3D works in progress.

Actor Suriya is all set for the release of his film 'Kanguva' directed by Siva. The epic action period violent drama is one of the most anticipated films of the year and it is likely that the makers of the film have planned to release the film this year on Diwali. The film initiallu went on floors in 2022 and following the shooting, the post-prodcution and dubbing of the film went on full pace and now only final part of the posr-production work is pending.
The makers earlier stated that the film will be out on the big screen this summer, however, as the post-production work delayed, the new release date is yet to be planned and the buzz is that the makers are looking forward for a festive release and is opting for a Diwali weekend release.
As per media reports, the movie's VFX and 3D works are underway and it will be completed by August.
The film is said to release in both 2D and 3D in 10 different languages. The film's story focuses on two timelines - the past ans present at parallels. The film's poster with two looks of Suriya has created quite a stir and the teaser has ignited the fans and movie audience. The movie audience are now looking forward for the trailer of the film.
The movie 'Kanguva' - a might valient saga features Suriya, Disha Patani, Bobby Deol and DOP Nataraj in lead roles and the rest of the cast includes KS Ravikumar, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra among others. The music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
