Been out of the game for a while. Long story short, created a profile on plenty of fish. Had some likes on there, but you can't do anything until you give POF your dollars. Have you had good luck luck with them? I'm okay with spending a few bucks on finding someone, but want to make sure it's worth it. Thanks!

I tried it, didn't like it and it matched me with catphish, people who were not local, and people I could tell I am not compatible with as in they don't have their life together, drink heavily or smoke, etc.

It used to be OK, like 10 yrs ago. My ex met her current husband on PoF. Conduct your own local survey, there’s usually a top app in your town/demographic. Apps vary in popularity, when Bumble first launched it was trendy, now not so much (location: Los Angeles).
It was great ten years ago. I met my Wife on there and she was the first person I matched with.

I like its search function, as I'm not a fan of being forced to judge one person at a time. Other than that it's similar to the others. I'd love to know what magical app the other commenters are using that they think is so different lol.
POF used to be a decent app once upon a Time. They all suck anymore LOL. However, plenty of fish is now bottom of the cesspool
