The full 17-game schedule has been released for the Denver Broncos and the rest of the NFL and after having some time to digest it, I will now predict the outcome of each game.
Broncos fans are always going to be excited to see the schedule and to start envisioning a path for the team to get back to playing winning football and making the playoffs regularly, something Broncos Country has become accustomed to.
But with excitement must also come patience and lofty expectations must also be met with reality. It's easy to assume that everything this organization touches will turn to gold, but that hasn't been the case for quite some time. So, we move forward with realistic predictions based on what this team has shown us for nearly a decade.
Could the team be on the right track? Possibly. Hopefully. However, patience will be needed.
When you consider that Denver has the 2nd worst rated roster in the league and sports books place the Broncos win total at 5.5, I'd say 9-8 is overly optimistic.

Denver Broncos 2024 schedule: Predicting the result of each game
Week 1 at Seattle
This could be the debut of Bo Nix but Seattle is still one of the loudest stadiums to win in and it's tough to leave there with a victory. Russell Wilson's debut in Denver was also in this venue and the result was a 1-point loss. Sean Payton will be going up against a first-time head coach, which would be a key factor. Denver, somehow, escapes with a big win.
Prediction: Win
Week 2 vs. Pittsburgh
This is going to be a fun one but it would be the result Broncos fans want. Russell Wilson will have revenge on his mind even though he will never admit it but he gets it here, spoiling the home opener for Denver.
Result: Loss
Week 3 at Tampa Bay
The Bucs were a solid team last year with Baker Mayfield running the show and this early in the season they should still be plenty healthy. This could be a tough game for a young Broncos squad.
Prediction: Loss
Week 4 at New York Jets
Another chance to stick it to Nathaniel Hackett for the Broncos but if the Jets have a healthy Aaron Rodgers they have a chance to be quite formidable this year.
Prediction: Loss
Week 5 vs. Las Vegas
After losing three games in a row the Broncos get right by finally beating the Raiders, snapping an 8-game losing streak to them.
Prediction: Win
Week 6 vs. L.A. Chargers
Jim Harbaugh is going to have this Chargers team playing at a high level but the Broncos always play them well, especially in Denver.
Prediction: Win
Week 7 at New Orleans
It will be a short week going on the road for Thursday Night Football but this is a game Sean Payton has circled on his calendar, even if he downplays the significance of it. It will be a dogfight but....
Prediction: Win
Week 8 vs. Carolina
This is a winnable stretch for the Broncos and they get their fourth win in a row over a still-bad Panthers team.
Prediction: Win
Week 9 at Baltimore
This has always been a tough place to play for the Broncos and the Ravens figure to be one of the AFC's best teams. This is a loss.
Prediction: Loss
Week 10 at Kansas City
The Chiefs won't have forgotten losing to the Broncos the last time they met and this will be one of those top-notch Patrick Mahomes performances at home.
Prediction: Loss
Week 11 vs. Atlanta
The Falcons are a team on the rise and with Kirk Cousins at quarterback, are capable of coming into Denver and hanging an L on the Broncos. But this Broncos team is going to be better at rising up to the challenge and protecting home field.
Prediction: Win
Week 12 at Las Vegas
It would be nice to see the Broncos sweep the Raiders but it's not going to happen quite yet.
Prediction: Loss
Week 13 vs. Cleveland
This game is going to present a great opportunity for the Broncos to show a lot of people that they are on the right track as it will be on Monday Night Football. The Broncos played one of their best games in a long time against the Browns last season.
Prediction: Win
Week 14: BYE WEEK
Week 15 vs. Indianapolis
The Colts are a difficult team to predict but they don't really have anything to scare opponents and with the game being in Denver, Broncos get the win.
Prediction: Win
Week 16 at L.A. Chargers
By this stage of the season, Harbaugh could have the Chargers humming.
Prediction: Loss
Week 17 at Cincinnati
As long as Joe Burrow is healthy, the Bengals are still one of the better teams in the AFC.
Prediction: Loss
Week 18 vs. Kansas City
The Broncos will get the win only because KC has everything wrapped up by this point and they sit their starters.
Prediction: Win
