Attendees at the 2024 Madison Kiwanis Father Daughter Dance were welcomed with a stroll on the red carpet at the recent event, according a release from Madison Kiwanis. At the end of the carpet, the celebrity attendees autographed a gold star which they placed on the “celebrity” wall of fame.

Kiwanis welcomed over 400 daughters who attended with their fathers for the seventh annual event. The scene was decorated to even make a Hollywood stars envious, as our Madison celebrities danced the night away, the release said. The evening created many happy memories where smiles abounded for this special night.

Thanks to the generosity and support of several Madison businesses, the 2024 dance was the largest Madison Kiwanis has hosted, the release said.

In addition to community support, several Kiwanis and Key Club members spent a Friday evening setting up and decorating, hosting and mingling with the celebrates, and finally removing the decorations and cleaning the dance floor.

The Key Club high school student members, whose assistance to help make the dance successful, demonstrated their organizational goal, which is to encourage leadership through serving, the release stated.

The Madison Key Club Motto is “Caring – Our way of Life.”

This annual event is the Madison Kiwanis signature event to raise money for the Club. Madison Kiwanis supports and donates to several community organizations to help those in need and improve opportunities for all Madison residents. The dance is another demonstrated example of its commitment to the vision: To help make Madison a better community by making a positive impact on our residents and children, the release stated.

Madison Kiwanis meets twice monthly. All community members are welcome to join and watch a small club do big things.
