At the end of his speech Harrison Butker received a standing ovation from the Benedictine College graduates and that’s what counts.

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt lose its savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing any more but to be cast out, and to be trodden on by men.

This year marks the 350th anniversary of The Sacred Heart, and St. Margaret Mary.

June was designed to honor His Sacred Heart.

Get a badge and pin it on your lapel.

When a client or neighbor asks you what it is and why…… tell them It’s Pride Month!

“Christian speech emphasizes God’s work in the world through supernatural means, beginning with the Gospel…”

Of course this is true as far as it goes, as the sacraments are the normal means of grace by which God supernaturally acts. But the half-truth comes in the assumption that such a supernatural work has no concomitant effect or working out in the natural spheres of life, which includes politics, family life, vocation, etc. St. Paul spends a great deal of his letters providing these kinds of moral exhortations precisely because of the supernatural work of God through the Church and her sacraments; because they are real, they have real impacts on every aspect of life.

I suppose that makes St. Paul a Christian Nationalist since he doesn’t hermetically seal off faith and works. There is a fine irony in Lutherans demonstrating the absurdity of such a stance.

“Christian nationalist” is an appellation invented by Vichy evangelicals (e.g. John Fea) to use in the pissing matches which go on on evangelical college faculties and in denominational structures. The only thing it tells you is that the use is an antagonist of the person he’s slamming.

This is a sample of one of three Billboards that will be in high visibility locations around Traverse City come June. We raised the $3,600 in 12 hours. We, our humble prayer group.

Could you do the same in your city?

Would you even try?

With all due respect to Art Deco, I am so happy to adopt the title “Christian Nationalist” because it pi$$es off the godless worthless useless liberal progressive feminist environmentalist Demon-craps. I wear the appellation proudly!
