Aisha Zakia Morris, 49

Aisha Zakia Morris, born on April 7, 1975, is the daughter of Stevie Wonder and Yolanda Simmons. She inspired her father’s famous song “Isn’t She Lovely”. This song includes sounds of her as a baby, showing how special she is to her father. Aisha grew up in New Jersey with her mother but still spent important times with her dad. She was with him during big moments like his Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction in 1989 and the 1996 Grammy Awards.

Aisha welcomed her younger brother Keita Sawandi Morris on April 17, 1977, born to Wonder and Simmons. Growing up in New Jersey with his mom and older sister, Keita attended Hartford College in Connecticut before co-founding Stay Gold, a record label in New York City. He appeared on the docuseries Classic Albums in 1997, discussing his father’s album Songs in the Key of Life. Keita became a father in 2006 to son Asmar and later had a daughter named Lula. Known as DJ Jersey Wonder, he’s an artist, producer, songwriter, designer, advertiser, and proud dad according to his Instagram.

Mumtaz Ekow Morris, 40

Mumtaz Ekow Morris was born on October 13, 1983, in Southern California to a famous singer. Growing up, Mumtaz wasn’t initially interested in music; he preferred playing football and basketball. Despite his father being a 25-time Grammy winner, he had a normal childhood, moving between his parents’ homes and enjoying visits with his dad.

Mumtaz’s interest in music started at 17, when he began playing piano and singing, shifting from sports to music. He graduated from Highland High School in 2001, where he was known for his musical talents. His dad made a surprise appearance at his graduation, making it even more special.

He studied business at Norfolk State University in Virginia and continued improving his music skills. Although hesitant at first to pursue music as a career, Mumtaz performed publicly for the first time in Tokyo in 2009 and married Candice, his high school sweetheart, soon after. They now have five children.

In 2010, Mumtaz performed with his father at the Hollywood Bowl and worked with Snoop Dogg on the song “Do It Well.” Years later, he and his siblings sang on one of his father’s tracks. Sophia Morris, 38

Sophia Morris, Stevie Wonder’s fourth child, born in July 1985, chose to grow up away from the public eye like her siblings. In 2020, she played a key role in organizing UNESCO’s World Day for African and Afrodescendant Culture in San Jose, Costa Rica. Kwame Morris, 35

Kwame Morris, the fifth child of Stevie Wonder, was born on August 6, 1988, in Sydney, Australia. He moved to Los Angeles at age 12. Kwame attended the 24th ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Music Awards with his brother Mumtaz in 2011 while studying for a sociology degree at Morehouse College in Atlanta, focusing on media and art. He graduated in 2013.

After college, Kwame worked at the clothing brand L’AGENCE as a production coordinator and later joined Tiffany Casting Company. He also modeled, appearing in Vogue Italia in 2016 and signing with Storm Model Management.

In 2017, he and Stevie Wonder publicly supported Colin Kaepernick’s protest against police brutality by taking a knee at the Global Citizen Festival. In 2020, Kwame launched his eyewear line, Yagan Stone Eyewear. Three years later, he and his partner Akira Egawa welcomed their child, Kenzo.

Kailand Morris, 22

Kailand Morris, born in September 2001 to musician Wonder and fashion designer Kai Millard, grew up in Calabasas, California, alongside his younger brother, Mandla.
