The Alibi is back open and offering up live music all summer long! Tonight, Friday, May 10th, check out the ecstatic dance grooves of Salamander Collective. Show at 9 p.m. Drew Emmitt and Andy Thorn of Leftover Salmon will be in town tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th, with RubyJoyful. Show at 8 p.m. Tickets for both shows are at alibitelluride.com.

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 11th, dance to the music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond with DJ Highgrade at the Livery in Norwood! Enjoy a photobooth, cash bar, and prizes for the best dressed from each decade. This is an all-ages community event, with proceeds benefitting Norwood Park and Rec programs. Sunday, May 12th, head to Telluride Elks Lodge for Mother’s Day Brunch, where moms eat free! This event is open to the public and brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Tuesday, May 14th, KOTO is having a CD rummage sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the driveway of KOTO Studios at 207 North Pine Street. Come dig some crates & pay what you can!

Calling volunteers for Mountainfilm 2024! Mountainfilm is seeking volunteers to commit to 8 hours of work in exchange for 4 film tickets. This year's festival is Thursday, May 23rd to Monday, May 27th. Please contact volunteer@mountainfilm.org to secure your spot.

Tuesday, May 14th, SMART (San Miguel Authority for Regional Transportation) hosts an open house meeting in Placerville to discuss plans for service expansions and improvements. The meeting takes place at 5:30 p.m. in the Placerville School House at 400 Front Street. There will be another open house meeting in Norwood on Wednesday, May 15th, at 6:30 p.m. at Lone Cone Library. Make your voice heard!

Did you know the Town of Telluride's Marshal's Office has a prescription drug collection box? Join San Miguel County Public Health and Tri-County Health Network on Thursday, May 16th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Marshal’s Office, and safely dispose of your unused or expired medication. Get information on harm reduction resources and tools, and enjoy FREE snacks at this fun, informative event.
