Paul Pierce ended up in the hospital on Friday after suffering a severe finger injury that caused significant bleeding and multiple broken bones. The Boston Celtics legend informed his fans of his condition by posting photos from his hospital bed, wearing a gown.
He shared graphic images of the injury, showing his right ring fingertip twisted away from his thumb and a close-up of the other side of his finger, which was badly split open. Despite the gruesome nature of the injury, Pierce reassured everyone that he is doing fine.
“I’m good by the way just broke a couple fingers gonna have surgery on one,” The Truth said on Instagram.
