CLONROCHE-POULPEASTY

Clonroche Poulpeasty Vintage Club

Sometimes, you just get a little extra rub of the green and things come right for you on the day. That’s how 3 Counties for Cancer went for our little club.

We are absolutely so overwhelmed at how the event was received in general and even more delighted to see the support it got. We are proud to say, that Clonroche Poupleasty Vintage Club, will be making a donation of €25,144 to the Oak Ward in the Pallative care unit in University Hospital Waterford.

This simply wouldn’t happen without the great support of the local communities here around us, its as simple as that. There’s some people and organisations who deserve a wee mention, for their added support to such a fantastic event. Our stewards on the day, the event couldn’t take place without you, thanks so much. An Garda Siochana, from Clonroche, New Ross , Graiguenamanagh and Thomastown, your support truly made all the difference.

Our resident Paparazzi, Marie Asple, Tony Asple and Thomas O’Callaghan , the coverage is absolutely fabulous and it shows the great work the club does, we greatly appreciate your time and efforts. Thanks to the Cloch Ban Frenchs for hosting us on the morning and providing us all with impeccable breakfast and the use of the grounds in general, it was greatly appreciated.

A special mention to the Vaughan family, who made a very gallant effort at supporting 3 Counties for Cancer. The Families of those loved ones who had a closer cause to 3 Counties for Cancer, your support was felt throughout the whole build up to the event and even still here after thank you very much. The folks who gave a dig out serving Teas etc in the hall, a job well done.

Thanks to Colm Byrne Civil and Building Contractors for sponsoring all drivers with a “3 Counties for Cancer” T-Shirt and in general your support to our Club for every event is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Our own Club members who sponsored the breakfast, making sure everyone driving on the day got fed was a classy gesture well done. Our Club members who sponsored drivers prizes. Dave Kelly from Glynn Killurin Community First Responders gave up his day to be part of the event and we are extremely grateful for that. Thanks to Brian, Breda and Sean from O Neills The Top place for their hospitality on the night of the event. The drivers on the day itself, we had friends and families of club members travel from as far as the north of Ireland to show their support. A special thanks to all people who participated on the day. All the lovely posters and signs etc, they all come from a great friend of the Club, Aine at Think Print and Design. She done a fantastic job as always designing the 3 Counties for Cancer logo. Thanks to Aine for her continued support. A mention is also needed for our local business people, we are just always blown away by the same small local businesses that come and support our events year after year and don’t want any fuss or mention. It doesn’t go un noticed in the club, thank you so much.

Irish Vintage Society clg., your continued support as always is greatly appreciated. Sharon is only ever a phone call away to offer any sort of support and assistance. Last but not least, the comradery between local Vintage clubs here is really something to behold. You see familiar faces at all different events around the county and beyond, and it’s all for the same passion , Vintage. We here at the club greatly appreciate all clubs that show up and support us, thank you very much.
