This Emily in Paris star might be looking to be 007 in the future. Lucien Laviscount, who portrays Alfie in Netflix's Emily in Paris starring Lily Collins, Ashley Park, and Lucas Bravo, cheekily answered if he would ever step in James Bond's shoes.

The British-born actor was interviewed by Good Morning Britain last week when Ranvir Singh, who was filling in for regular show anchor Kate Garraway, asked if he had received a phone call about having a role in a new James Bond film.

Laviscount repeated the question: “A Bond phone call?” adding, “Listen if the Bond phone call came in you don't turn it down. That would be something pretty special I am sure.”

Ed Mitchell repeated the question asking: “But it's not come in yet?”

Laviscount responded as he answered vaguely with laughter: “If I got the call it would be amazing.”

Daniel Craig will not be reprising his role as the beloved spy character in 2022, per Yahoo Entertainment. Craig's last role as Bond was in the film No Time to Die, which was released in 2021.

“I said, ‘This is it. I don’t want to do any more,’” Craig says of his fifth and last film.

“Real tragedy is when you have absolutely no choice,” Craig said at the time. “We had to find a way to make his death no choice. It was the happiest Bond had ever been because he’d found exactly what he was looking for. Like everyone on Earth, he was just looking for love.”

While Bond dies in the last film, there is still room for there to a possibility for a new beginning Craig says.

“If we kill Bond, we can begin again,” Craig says. “I think Barbara thought that too. But, bless them, the studio, MGM, were, like, ‘What are you talking about? Are you out of your minds?’ There was reluctance. So we had to do it in secret, really.”

007 film producer Michael G. Wilson announced that the new Bond would be a “30-something” actor to covet the role, which would make Laviscount fit the bill at 31.

The Daily Mail previously reported that Laviscount would be perfect for role adding that he is a “super talented actor, is extremely handsome and in the past 18 months has won lots of new fans since he joined Emily In Paris.

“Bond bosses are already saying how you can see him in the 007 tuxedo, how dapper and fitting to the role he will look,” the source added.
