Teresa K. Hamilton

December 13, 1943 - May 7, 2024

Union, South Carolina - Mrs. Teresa Keith Hamilton, age 80 of Meansville Rd., Union, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Hamilton was born in Union, December 13, 1943, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Keith and Ollie Jane Pruitt Keith. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and received a Master's in Education from Winthrop College. Mrs. Hamilton was a retired teacher having taught in the Union, Rock Hill and York School Districts and had also retired as manager of York Seafood. Mrs. Hamilton was an active member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Preceptor Zeta Chapter and was a former member of the Order of the Easter Star. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are a son, Keith Hamilton and wife Leisl of Union; a sister, Sara Keith Sealy of Aiken; grandchildren, Michelle Norris and husband Nick, Michael Hughes, Dockery Hamilton and wife Cindy and Frank Webster and great grandchildren, Jesse Hughes, Aiden Hamilton, Skylar Norris, Bonnie Hamilton, Karleigh Hamilton and Violet Childers. She is also survived by two nieces, Carrie Lenea Walters and Karyn Bland, two aunts, Marguerite Bushnell of Florida and Nellie Jo Knox of Union and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jana Hamilton, a sister, Bobbie Jane Garner and a brother, Robert Lee Keith, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Greene Funeral Home Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732, conducted by Rev. Dr. Tom Tucker. Visitation will be held Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the chapel prior to the services.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Hamilton, Michael Hughes, Dockery Hamilton, Frank Webster, Aiden Hamilton and Nick Norris.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

The family will be at the home of her son, Keith and Leisl Hamilton, 873 Bailey Rd., Union.
