Sister Wives star Garrison Brown’s cause of death has been confirmed.

Brown, the son of reality stars Kody Brown and Janelle Brown, died aged 25 in March.

At the time, it was reported the family was ‘extremely broken and tortured’, after his body was found in his home in Flagstaff, Arizona.

His manner of death has been ruled a suicide, in an autopsy report obtained by People.

The report notes, according to the publication, that a contributing factor in his death was alcohol poisoning, and he had traces of caffeine in his system at the time of his death.

Brown’s brother Gabriel, 22, found his body on March 5, with police being called to a report of a ‘death inside a home’.

They confirmed at the time there was no ‘indication of foul play’.

Janelle took to Instagram to announce the sad news shortly later, saying: ‘Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown.

‘He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away.

‘We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.’

Kody also posted the same statement on his own Instagram page.

Brown was part of the TLC reality show – which follows the life of a polygamist family with Kody, his wife, three ex-wives and 18 children – since its debut in 2010.

He is survived by his parents and five siblings – Maddie, 28, Savannah, 19, Logan, 29, Hunter, 27, and Gabriel, 22.

After over three decades together Janelle and Kody – who has 12 children through other relationships – separated in 2022.

In his most recent social media post, Brown posted a picture of a cat he’d just adopted called Ms Buttons.

‘Newest edition to my home, Ms Buttons. She’s 9 years old and was on the line for euthanasia but my savior complex couldn’t suffice,’ he wrote five days before his death alongside a picture.
