High School Principal

The Holmdel School District is seeking a motivated, innovative, and dedicated Principal for our High School.
Critical skills for success as the Principal, of Holmdel High School, will be to support and expand the district’s mission by:

• Supporting a vision of opportunities for all students and instilling a lifelong passion for learning and preparing each child for the future
• Advocating, nurturing, and sustaining a positive school culture and instructional high  school program conducive to student learning & staff professional growth
• Facilitating the development, articulation, implementation, and stewardship of a vision of learning that is shared and supported by all stakeholders
• Ensuring management of the organization, operation, and resources for a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment
• Collaborating with faculty and community members, responding to community interests and needs, and mobilizing community resources.
• Acting with integrity, fairness, and in an ethical manner

• Possesses New Jersey certification as Principal
• Has obtained a minimum of a Master's Degree
• Has previous successful administrative experience, preferably high school-based
• Possesses strong human relations, problem-solving, decision-making, and communications skills
• Demonstrates leadership to implement educational innovations that benefit students
• Completes required criminal history check and has proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status 
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
