A friend found my AH’s hinge profile. He made it 6 days after relapsing so this tracks. He’s done hurtful things like this during his binges. I confronted him about this and he laughed and said he wanted this to happen. He said he was trying to get my attention which is BS. I also found condoms in his drawer which we definitely don’t use. I confronted him and he said he planted those because he knew I’d find them. He’s basically trying to blame this all on me. I told him I was going to get tested and he laughed and said it was a waste of money. He said that if something came back, it might be because of me. I’ve been nothing but faithful this entire marriage and putting up with lies and addiction. He always tells me I think I’m perfect and prideful. This happens when I call him out or catch him in a lie. He knows how to get in my head. I wonder if I’ve been ignoring him and just giving the baby attention but I’ve also him ignoring him because of his drinking.
Why am I so scared to leave? It should really be an easy choice.

It’s hard because inside the alcoholic is a person you love(d). It also is life altering to leave a marriage/relationship that you thought would be forever.
