The Beach Boys will be bringing a very special guest along for several dates of their upcoming “Endless Summer Gold Tour”: John Stamos.
A mainstay in The Beach Boys’ lore since the mid ’80s, Stamos has appeared on multiple tours with the California band, right up to an appearance at Stagecoach Festival alongside The Beach Boys last month. The Beach Boys’ 2024 “Endless Summer Gold Tour” celebrates the 50th anniversary of their album Endless Summer, and will feature Stamos on a handful of dates on the East Coast, the Midwest, and California.

The tour resumes this Friday, May 24th in Connecticut, and runs through the entire summer. Stamos will join the band from May 30th to June 20th, July 5th-7th, and August 30th-September 1st. The tour concludes on September 28th with an appearance at Ocean City, Maryland’s Oceans Calling Festival, as well as an appearance on the Malt Shop Cruise in late October. The Beach Boys will also play a trio of shows in Las Vegas at The Venetian on September 4th, 6th, and 7th; Tickets for those dates will first be available via a Live Nation pre-sale starting on Wednesday, May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. PST (use code SOUNDCHECK), and will later go on-sale for the general public on Friday, May 24th at 10:00 a.m. PST via Ticketmaster.
In addition to kicking off the next leg of their tour this week, The Beach Boys will also be celebrating the release of their new Disney+ documentary, simply titled The Beach Boys. The documentary includes new interviews with The Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks, Bruce Johnston, as well as several other music industry figures like Lindsay Buckingham, Janelle Monáe, Ryan Tedder, and more.
Though Brian Wilson appeared with The Beach Boys at a tribute concert in Los Angeles early last year, he won’t be joining the band on tour — the singer and songwriter has been suffering from dementia and was recently placed under a conservatorship.
