deciding on my first bb phone

hi everyone, ive been looking for a phone that i use for smartphone detoxing, ive been looking through dumbphones and got familiar with bb and bb10, and fell in love with it, so i decided i need one, now im stuck between bbpassport and classic, i also plan to buy key2 because i need an android device for essential things like online banking, nfc keys etc., so, help me out, reasons i like passport: better hardware and battery

reasons i like classic: the keyboard is just majestic, and it would be nice to have the same layout on classic and key2 so i dont take long to adapt, but the weaker hardware makes me think it cannot handle essential apps that i need (i just use telegram, a fitness app and maybe whatsapp)

what do you say?

also im in europe if that matters

Another question: would be safe to order a passport from china? many of ebay sellers are chinese and i worry they could manupilate somehting in the phone

Passport has the best keyboard - it's touch-enabled and by swiping up the predicted words (the prediction is really smart, switches seamlessly between 3 languages!), you can type really fast. My Passport died, miss him so much.

The classic Keyboard is the Best ever made

Classic and passport are both great but i would choose the classic its got the perfect keyboard.

As for the key2 keep in mind there are no more security patches or software updates and some apps dont work on it any longer so you’ll want to check to make sure any apps you want to use still work. Key2 works well but I wouldn’t use it for any banking apps.

yea totally thought android 8 would be still supported, afaik bb phones are dead right?

Leap for me.

Classic battery is not that good.

However, it still perform amazing if you are a retired phone drone making a 'step down'

i like the keyboard tho, i think ill go with the passport, its just so unique and cool, i feel so bad that im so late to these products, back in 2015 all i got was the old phones of family members

My experience with the Key2 as a daily driver is pretty positive. Just the basics. The Nokia banana phone is also phone is you want to get back to basics.

The Passport, it's more powerful and I believe it could last for longer you can also get Classic if that keyboard suits you better and you like the size overall, but The Passport is just unique and the very last Blackberry phone

Btw the Classic has the tool belt which is also great and useful but unfortunately the battery is a bit smaller than the Passport

hey, thanks for your feedback, do you think buying from ebay is safe? shouldnt i worry they did something to the phone? all of the sellers seem to be chinese

Yah I wouldn't trust ebay, I've seen some people complain about the scams there and how unreliable it can be, a local phone store any where around you is safer if they have some old phones
