Museum bookings

Hi everyone, I will be visiting Amsterdam for the first time in August with 2 teenagers. I hope to purchase Anne Frank tickets 6 weeks before but would I need to buy tickets for MOMA and the Upside Down Museum as well or would I be able to buy when I get there?

I'm not sure what you mean with moma. The mona is in New York. In Amsterdam, there are museums regarding modern art too, but they have an other name. Maybe you meant moco? (Although I would prefer the Stedelijk Museum instead.)

For most museums you don't need to buy tickets very far in advance, except for the Anne Frank huis, van Gogh Museum and Rijksmuseum. Some museums require you to buy tickets for entering at a certain time slot, but these tickets can often be bought the day before or even the same day

Be prepared for all the touristy places to be crazily busy.

If you mean Moco, that is not a real museum but an art gallery / shop that calls itself a museum. They cleverly use a name that makes people think of a world famous museum and cleverly use a building on Museumplein and cleverly name-drop even though you may be looking at replicas of those works. They show a mix of real works (which they don’t protect well from the elements) and replicas.
