This sparked speculation that Henderson, who moved from Liverpool to Al-Ettifaq last summer and then to Ajax in January, might have declined to take part. Henderson’s record includes 304 appearances under Klopp, making him one of the key players alongside Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, James Milner, and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
