Was once a day supposed to be the final track on circles?

Question

Title. Was wondering if there was supposed to be another final track but that it was never finished or recorded.

Pretty sure it was, the ending of Once a day is meant to loop back into the start of Circles (the first song on the album).

At one point I'm pretty sure Jon Brion mentioned in an interview that Mac introduced him to the idea of making the final song on the album loop back into the first, to make a "complete circle" and he said he loved the idea or something along those lines.

So at least Jon Brion made it seem like that was the intended final track. It is the final track for the regular Circles album, just not the deluxe version. Never heard of there being any other plans behind the scenes.
